Pay Rate: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

The Job:
FCI is in search of an Electronics Repair Technician to join our Field Service and Repair team. This position will be responsible for performing electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair functions of our returned industrial products. This is also an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of electronic components used in our industry-leading fluid measurement and control products. What You’ll Do: 
  • Diagnose, repair and test PWBs and sensors with minimal supervision.
  • Perform validation testing of various precision electronic instruments.
  • Troubleshoot and repair down to the component level of assembled printed circuit board failures.
  • Identify failure modes in both analog and digital circuitry.
  • Analyze detailed physical inspection of returned products.
  • Process incoming returned equipment into our Syteline ERP system (RTrack), including catalogs and recordings for proper organization of our returned units.
  • Run sensor assembly resistance and insultation resistance testing.
  • Organize the units before calibrating or repairing the component before returning to the customer.  
  • Deliver products for further repair to appropriate sub work centers.
  • Review and follow up on production reports for industrial repairs.
  • Attend to other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of relevant work experience in electronics repair or related field.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC circuitry theory and or/design is preferred.
  • Proficiency with using diagnostic tools, and hand tools for repairing.
  • Basic knowledge in mathematics with an understanding of electronic formulas and equations.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and drawings is desired.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Physical/Travel Requirements
This position requires sitting 20% of the time. Standing and walking are required up to 80% of the time. Manual dexterity is required in skills for typing, using wrenches, screwdrivers, or other similar tools for up to 20% of the time. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
